Talk Description
A disruptive innovation transforms an existing market or sector–or creates a new one–by introducing simplicity, convenience, and affordability. This talk will apply lessons of disruptive innovation from other industries to health care. The talk will examine: 1) precision medicine, the technological enabler of disruption in health care; 2) different business models and their applicability to health care; 3) existing (unsustainable) health care business models and improvement suggestions; 4) the role of new value networks in health care; and 5) which entities have the potential to lead the necessary changes. |
