Given the fragmented nature of the health care industry and the disparate sources of health information, consumers have a strong need to integrate and securely store personal health care information. This panel will address whether or not the current personal health information (PHI) technologies available address the needs of both patients and health care providers and the role of PHI technologies going forward.
