Access to health care remains a major roadblock to sustained economic, social and human development in many parts of the developing world. This panel will highlight a variety of successful approaches that have improved access to care in resource-constrained settings. These include bio-pharma initiatives to improve drug pricing, government programs that scale up care provision using private providers, and the creation of public-private partnerships.
